This stunning Meredew retro oak desk has undergone a complete upgrade.

It has been finished in black paintwork which has been varnished and hand waxed for protection.

The top has been hand scraped to reveal the nice oak graining .

The drawers, sides, and back panel have been refinished with iconic Cole and Son " Piero Fornasetti " wallpaper decoupage, which has also been varnished and hand waxed for protection.

This desk could be used as a free standing desk as it has a decorative back panel ( see pictures).

The left hand pedestal has three drawers. and the right two drawers, one being an extra deep drawer for files.

Standind on classic Dansette tapering legs with brass feet, this really is a very stylish retro desk that would look fantastic in any setting !
