Lovely quality carved camphor wood chest. refinished in blue paintwork , with antiqued gold highlighted relief carving. Finished with several layers of protective varnish and hand waxed. This superb Art Deco style chest has a stepped lid and rounded end columns .

Of very heavy construction and having wonderfull camphor arouma ! This chest is a real conversation piece and dates from around 1960. Having sunken carved handles to lid and sides. Offering plenty of storage space with a sliding inner shelf .

This chest would grace any room and would make a great focal point !
