Vintage Hardwood Storage Chest - Upcycled Blanket Box - Coffee Table

This hardwood chest is of very heavy construction.

It has applied fabric decoration depicting the first moving pictures of a horse and rider !

This fabric is my own design and is not available to the general public.

The fabric has been antiqued and several layers of varnish has been applied for protection.

The top has been repolished in traditional French polish and waxed.

The box retains its original carrying handles and hasp and clasp fitment.

Standing on square low feet, this box chest would make a fantastic coffee table.

Please note this item has been finished to look old and not perfect !
